Personal Budgets
Personal Budgets
A Personal Budget is an amount of money, allocated by the Social Services department of the Council that allows individuals who currently receive services greater choice and control over their support arrangements. The government started piloting these Personal Budgets (or Individual Budgets as they were then) in 2005 and now this method of providing support and care has been rolled out county-wide.
